Cosy Brook - A Sims 3 Save File

Welcome to Cosy Brook - I have fully transformed/ renovated/ created every house and community lot and madeover all the pre-existing sims from Twinbrook (the world which comes with Sims 3 Ambitions). I have put sooo many hours into this but I'm really excited with how it has all turned out! I have more details on the lore of this seemingly quiet cosy little town with a new mysterious lore to explore and discover and I also have some screenshots below for you, so you can check out the story of Cosy Brook and how the town is looking now...

Minimum REQUIRED packs for this to work: Base Game & Ambitions
Requires ALL Expansion and Stuff Packs for it to look exactly the same in game as how I created it.
- Please note that if you do not have some of these Expansion / Stuff Packs then items/lots/sims will either not appear, be replaced or be modified automatically but the save file should still work (with exception to Ambitions which is required).
This save file has no custom content (CC) or mods.
EA STORE CONTENT USED (this is not essential to play with this save file)
I tried to minimise my use of store content, however I have used some items from the store, I have listed the store items at the end of this page (and the lots I used them for so you would know what may have been replaced or what may be missing). It is 100% not essential for you to have any of this content for gameplay so please do not feel the need to purchase anything for this save file.
To install the save file you will just need to unzip the file and put the folder called "Welcome to Cosy Brook" into your saves folder - Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves
After you have added it to your saves folder and boot up the game, the save file should show as an option to play:
Feel free to edit and play with this save file in any way you want, just please don’t re-upload or claim as your own :)

THE NEW MAIN STORY
After Billy's grandparents left his dad their house in their will, Billy and his family have are now moving into the house they left to them in Cosy Brook. Billy is feeling a bit sore about moving away their modern city house to now live in this small town and he is quite annoyed that his family are so excited about the move, but it's not all bad news as it does mean moving closer to one of his grandparent's neighbours called Chase who he has a massive crush on.
Once the family settled in, Billy quickly made friends at his new school. He also joined a club called the Monster Squad which is held above the Comic Book Store. The teens meet up to discuss the strange disappearances in the town...
WORLD TRANSFORMATIONS
I have changed the overall look of the town to have a more autumnal vibe with a pine tree forest surrounding the area and I had added quite a few yellow, orange and red trees around the town.
I have also changed the overall look of the swampy boggy area into a more autumnal woodland marsh:

I have placed the "Classically Cool Fixer-upper Car" (which comes with the store world Roaring Heights) to the mechanic's garage. If you don't have this store content then it won't look exactly the same but I still think it is a nice addition to the town :)

This place has been closed for years, but lately there has been some suspicious activity, the lights often come on after dark. There is definitely something strange going on!

RESIDENTIAL RENOVATIONS
I have either completely renovated or rebuilt all the sim's homes and unoccupied residential lots. On top of this I gave all the pre-existing residents makeovers and new backstories.
I haven't actually deleted any of the pre-existing sims so all your good old faves will still live in the town :)

The Goode & Bad House (Dope Digs)
The two roommates who live here, Goodwin Goode and Sinbad Rotter, are still quite different in personalities but they have more in common now. Not only are they in a band together, they also share the same affliction, will you discover their secret?
I really love how their house turned out, it is now both stylish & grungy.
The Baker's house:
I have added some colour to the Baker's home and I completely changed the inside. I have given the mum Mary a really nice posh kitchen, living room and bedroom as I think she deserves it! The boys now have some much more lived in looking bedrooms and and cool attic space to hang out in.
The Roommates new house:
Home to Blaise Kindle and Alma Drill. Blaise and Alma have been close friends for quite a while. Some would say they are a sisterhood. Will living together strain their friendship, or take it to places they never expected?

This house still has a retro vibe but it is so much cosier now!

Small Starter Home - Robin Retreat
This is a new starter home furnished with the basics.
Trailer Home apartments!
These function as apartments so you will have a randomly generated neighbour in the trailer next door. I think these are so cute :)
